HELLO THERE!

Robert (Bob) Todd Myers, was born in 1956 and passed away in 2020.

Bob grew up in Visalia and attended College of the Sequoias. He also taught American Sign Language for the College and was an accomplished interpreter within the deaf community. Bob enjoyed people and frequently volunteered in various capacities.

Bob went to work for Pacific Telephone & Telegraph in 1978 and that position launched his career in Telecommunications. While living in Visalia Bob took a position with Tulare County General Services and was instrumental in bringing the 911 system for the County up to speed. Eventually Bob was employed by MCI and relocated to Denver and Sacramento.

In 2011, Bob made his home in the Central Coast of California where he met husband Bill Owen. Together they had many adventures including travel and DIY home projects. Bob was an avid photographer and a talented, passionate chef. He was always cooking something for someone and took pride in his kitchen accomplishments. He had a keen sense of humor and was never too busy to help and lend a hand to someone in need.

Bob is survived by his husband, Bill Owen; mother, Betty Kirby; and sister, Melinda Reum. Bob was a very special individual and will be missed by many.
